RVing in the district is possible however driving your large vehicle on the main streets of Big Apple is like riding on a nightmare. We don’t want that do we? In New York you can have both worlds, the nature and the central district. When you have decided of going on a USA RV vacation, the next thing is to know where to go.

The Allegany State Park is located in western New York. Known for its forested valleys, un-glaciated landscape, fall leaves, and wildlife. With 65,000 acres it is the largest park in the New York State Park System opening its doors to campers all year ’round. The activities are complex and can differ according to the season, you won’t regret giving it a try. Nearby parks include Lake Erie State Park, Long Point State Park on Lake Chautauqua, Evangola State Park, Letchworth State Park, and Woodlawn Beach State Park. Use 716-354-9121 to contact this park. Or for that rustic camping in the wilderness, the Bear Spring Mountain would be perfect. Located in the western end of the Catskill Forest Preserve, 5 miles south of Walton, New York. This is a lot different from the Bear Mountain State Park near the Palisades. Bear Spring Mountain has minimum modern amenities, it is scenic and a lot personal with nature. Nearby attractions include antiquing, restaurants, and shopping. You can reach them at (607)865-6989.

If you are wanting to spend somewhere close to the lake, the Cayuga Lake State Park is ideal. Located on the west shore of Cayuga Lake’s north end, east of Seneca Falls. Close attractions are: Sampson State Park, Taughannock Falls State Park, Fair Haven Beach State Park, Fillmore Glen State Park, and Watkins Glen State Park all within a short distance. The park is located on Rte 89, at the north end of Cayuga Lake, on the west shore. 315-568-5163
